Year 7 and 8 L4L Settling In Evenings
Tuesday, 18 January 3:40pm – 4:45pm
Wednesday, 26 January 4:00pm – 6:30pm
We would like to invite you to our KS3 Settling in Evenings which will take place on Tuesday, 18 January and Wednesday, 26 January. The evenings will provide you and your child with the opportunity to virtually meet with your child’s form tutor and discuss your child’s progress.
In light of the current situation, we will offer online virtual meetings with families using the Edulink software. Further information regarding how to use this software is attached to this letter.
Each virtual meeting will last for up to 5 minutes and families will be given an allocated time slot allowing you the chance to speak to your child’s Form Tutor. It is essential that you are ready to start your meeting at the time advised, as the system does not allow this time to be extended.
There are two dates available: Tuesday, 18 January and Wednesday, 26 January.
Please only book one appointment with your child’s form tutor.
It is expected that all families, along with their child attend this very important evening as it will be the first opportunity for families to learn about the work Year 7 and 8 students have been completing.

If you are unable to attend either evening or would like a member of staff to contact you to arrange an alternative appointment, please inform your child’s form tutor.

Settling In Evening Booking Guide
Step 1. Log in to Edulink, either via the app or online.
Step 2. Select the relevant child. Click on the Parents’ Evening button.
Step 3. Select the date you want the appointment (please choose only 1 date).
Step 4. Select the timeslot by clicking on it. Select ‘Book’.
Step 5. To attend the appointment, log on to Edulink, select the ‘Parents’ Evening’ button and click on ‘Start Appointment’.
