Shireland Collegiate Academy in Smethwick is inviting prospective sixth form students and their families to its Post-16 Open Evening on Thursday 13 November 2025, from 4.30pm to 7.00pm.
Visitors can tour the Academy, meet staff and students, and find out more about the wide range of A level, vocational and level 2 pathways available for September 2026 entry.
Shireland Sixth Form combines academic excellence with a strong focus on personal development, encouraging students to grow as confident, well-rounded individuals. Exceptional teaching is supported by dedicated academic coaches and tailored pastoral guidance, ensuring every learner is supported to reach their full potential.
Students benefit from strong employer and university partnerships, gaining access to mentoring, work experience, and industry insights that help shape their future plans.
Ben Brogan, Head of Sixth Form, said: “Shireland Sixth Form offers a community where ambition, support and opportunity come together. Students don’t just study – they grow, develop and discover what they are capable of at their highest potential.
“By the time they leave, our students have the confidence, skills and resilience to succeed, whether that’s at university, in an apprenticeship, or straight into the world of work.”
Applications for September 2026 are now open through Applicaa, a new online admissions system where students can apply and track their progress in real time.
