At Shireland Collegiate Academy, we believe that great schools are built together — with students, staff and families working as one community.
That’s why we would love for you to join our Family Forum Community for the upcoming academic year. Have your say. Share your ideas. Help shape our Academy.
Our Family Forum is a welcoming space where families can come together, ask questions, share experiences and help us make positive changes that benefit every student.
We meet three times each academic year. This year’s meetings will take place on Tuesday 29 September, Tuesday 23 February, and Tuesday 25 May
Having proudly achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award in 2026, we are committed to continuing to strengthen our partnership with families. Your views matter, and we want to hear them.
What will we talk about?
At our next meeting, we will focus on Academic outcomes and our annual school improvement plan.
We will also share important updates and invite your views on:
- Our school environment
- Student progress and learning
- School improvements and future developments
- Current Academy updates
- Your ideas, questions and feedback
The Family Forum is also an opportunity to learn more about our policies, curriculum and the wider education system, while connecting with other families and members of our Academy community.

Whether you have been part of the Family Forum before or this will be your first meeting, you are very welcome.
You don’t need to be an expert or have a particular issue to raise. Sometimes the simplest suggestion can make the biggest difference.
